Russellville Logan County Airport has been described as a jewel of South Central Kentucky Airports. Situated in a vast farming community, the airport is located on the outskirts of the growing city of Russellville.
Commuters and business owners flying into our airport can make use of the airport courtesy car to attend business meetings, or to explore our historic town and its culinary delights.
It boasts a beautiful modern terminal building with a reputation of a very friendly helpful staff. A fully furnished pilot lounge and bathroom facilities with showers are available.
The terminal building is open from 09:00 till 18:00 daily, seven days a week.
Pilots are also able to access the kitchen area and bathroom facilities 24 hours a day.
NOTICE TO AIRPORT CONSULTANTS
The Russellville-Logan County Airport Board is hereby soliciting statements of qualifications and experience from airport engineering consultants for a continuing services agreement at the Russellville-Logan County Airport. The terms of the Agreement may extend for a period of up to five (5) years and include multiple projects. Subject to receipt of Federal and/or State matching funds, these projects may include the following but are not limited to:
- Apron Expansions
- Pavement Rehabilitation
- Box Hangars and/or T-Hangars
- Airfield Electrical and Lighting Improvements
- Obstruction Clearing/Mitigation
- Runway Extension
Required services include but are not limited to planning, A/E design, surveying, bidding/award, construction administration and inspection for projects funded under the FAA Airport Improvement Program.
A qualification-based selection process conforming to FAA Advisory Circular 150/5100-14E will be utilized. Fee information will not be considered in the selection process and must not be submitted with the statement of qualifications. Ranking and selection may be solely based upon the statements of qualifications, therefore interviews are optional and at sole discretion of the selection committee.
Selection Criteria will include qualifications and competency, firm’s recent experience and performance record with airport projects, capability to perform within an acceptable time frame, firm’s proximity to the project site, availability of a qualified resident inspector or engineer, and an evaluation of the firm’s EEO policy.
Detailed scopes of work and fees will be negotiated as project needs arise.
Statements of qualification will be received until 4:00 PM, local time, on May 1, 2026, at the Russellville-Logan County Airport Terminal Building at 385 Airport Road, Russellville, KY 42276.
